    Used, in good condition.  Refurbished?  Not in your life.  You get the original schmutz it earned when in use.   As far as wear and tear, some of the original electrons may have departed, and may have picked up some new ones.
    Yes you can probably get this in a thrift shop for two bucks.  But is will save you gas and effort.  Beside you may be out in the middle of nowhere and the trip will cost you twenty bucks in gas just to get to that thrift shop.  This will be at least delivered to your address.
