    Description

    25-Pin RS-232 Serial Cable
    Straight through signal mapping on pins 1-8, 20 and 22. The other pins are not connected.
    From 1-8, 20 and 22, the associated RS-232 signals are GND, Tx, Rx, RTS, CTS, DSR, GND, DCD, DTR and RI. These are all of the signals that are contained on a DB9 cable.
    Straight through connections (not a null modem)
    Since only the RS-232 serial port signals are connected, it cannot be used as a parallel port extension cable, which would require additional signals
